The Global Brand Positioning Partners

James M. Edgar is the former Senior Partner of Edgar, Dunn & Company, an international consulting firm.  Jim has over 35 years of management consulting experience in marketing, brand strategy and organization.  He has served over 200 clients on more than 350 specific assignments.  Prior to forming Edgar, Dunn & Company in 1978, Jim served as the Western Regional Partner for the management consulting division of one of large the international accounting firms.  Jim has directed branding assignments for the International Olympic Committee, AirTouch Communications, MasterCard International, Blue Cross of California, Monsanto’s Ortho and Roundup, and Moore Stephens International, among others.

Ethan J. Dulsky is a highly experienced consulting project manager and strategist, and was formerly a senior strategy consultant and engagement manager at Edgar, Dunn & Company.  Ethan has diverse consulting experience in competitive positioning, brand-focused marketing, business strategy, and financial management.  Prior to Edgar, Dunn & Company, Ethan was an internal consultant for E&J Gallo Winery, where his responsibilities included strategic and corporate planning.  He has managed major assignments with clients such as Providian Financial Corporation, Dolby Laboratories, Wells Fargo Bank, Greater Bay Bancorp, and Moore Stephens International, among others.

Kent Dorwin is a nationally respected expert in global branding and marketing.  He has had extensive worldwide experience in financial services and consumer packaged goods.  Kent served as the senior brand and marketing partner for Edgar, Dunn & Company for eight years.  Prior to his consulting experience, he served as Senior Vice President, General Manager of the Dole Packaged Goods Company, and as Senior Vice President, Strategy for Charles Schwab & Company. While at Edgar, Dunn & Company, Kent assisted a number of leading clients including the International Olympic Committee, Nestle Beverage, Holiday Inn World Wide, Visa International, General Motors Europe, Monsanto’s Ortho and Roundup, U.S. Bank, NutraSweet and Blue Cross of California.

Lisa Wilcox has specialized in branding, competitive positioning and new product development for over 15 years.  She has worked extensively with the Global Brand Positioning partners in the vast majority of their major assignments over the past 10 years.  Lisa is an expert in conducting and interpreting qualitative research, and has extensive experience in marketing and communications strategy and advertising.  She was a market researcher at Young & Rubicam, New York and practiced law at Orrick, a national law firm.  Some of her more visible clients have included eBay, AT&T, Charles Schwab, EMI Records, Visa International, Visa USA, NASCAR, The Mayo Clinic, Bank of America and Levi Strauss.
